Ever since I was a little girl I have loved horses. My first look at a trotting breed was at my friend's Arabian farm. I was blown away by the flair and drama of the fiery breed. It was also my first introduction to Saddle Seat riding, and I knew that one day I would want to own, ride and show these magnificent horses.
Many years later, these same friends introduced me to the American Saddlebred and I was hooked! My family now owns and shows both Saddlebreds and Morgans, and have also had the privilege of showing a Hackney Pony.
I love supporting the work of NCASHA and helping promote and grow the breed throughout Northern California. I am also active on several ASHA committees and work hard to keep the voice of the West Coast region heard at the national level.
